Its really Fall!

So the weather changed a lot over the weekend. We had some 90 degree days last week, and then all of a sudden on Saturday we were having to wear jackets. The high was around 60 I think but it felt colder because of the wind. We had two birthday parties to go to that day. One at the park and another at a friend's house and they had a bounce house set-up outside so we were outside a lot. It was nice! I really like fall weather. I am hoping we get a colder winter this year than last year with some more snow than we got last year. That would be fun!

Elijah got to sing for both services at church yesterday with the Kids For Christ Choir. I was kind of surprised they wanted the kids to sing so soon because they are preparing for a Christmas show and a lot of the kid's don't have their stuff memorized including Elijah but they just sang one song, "Mighty God" and they all did pretty good. I was impressed with the way Elijah stood there and didn't goof around on the risers.

After church my mom surprised us with an impromptu trip to Disneyland and she bought us annual passes! That was so nice!! I love Disneyland and its so fun taking the kids there. It was crowded yesterday since this is a holiday weekend but not too bad. We enjoyed ourselves and I am looking forward to going back on a slow day so we can get a lot of rides in. The park of course is all decorated for Halloween so all the pumpkins are out and lots of orange accents. I love how Disneyland decorates for holidays.
