Elijah turned 5 yesterday and we celebrated at the Big Cheese which is a pizza place with games like Chuckie Cheese. We had a good time and enjoyed a really good turn out. We ended up with a total of 33 people. There were 20 kids which was such a blessing. Last year we did Elijah's party out at the park and it was so cold and windy and we only had about 5 kids come, 4 of which were from one family so it wasn't a big turnout. Elijah had a really good time with everyone. I think the only downside was the place was pretty noisy and I am losing my voice, actually I've officially lost it, and so it was hard to talk with everyone. I really thought it would be quieter on a Wednesday evening. I'm so glad we didn't try the park again this year as its raining all week.
I got a call from my old friend Claudia yesterday and it was so nice to hear from her and catch up. I found out she checks my blog everyday at work so here is a shout out to her. Have a good day working Claudia! Love ya!
Yesterday we also got to meet up with my friend Angela at the park. Her son Ethan is a little younger than Elijah and she has a baby girl who is a little younger than Daniel. It was nice to see them but the park was freezing so we didn't last long there. Elijah was shivering and wasn't playing well he was crying over every little thing so we left and went to the McDonald's play place and that was more comfortable.
