Getting more healthy

I've decided that I need to try to be more healthy in many ways. I'm in the worst shape of my life right now, and I need to do something about it. I need to eat better, I need to exercise, I need to take better care of my teeth, I need to take better care of my skin, I need to take my vitamins everyday, all of it. I was hoping to start going back to Weight Watchers last Monday, but I didn't make it. Elijah started Karate that day and it didn't finish up until a little past 6pm and we didn't get out of there until about 6:20 and by that time I should have been at the Weight Watcher's meeting so thats not going to work. I'm considering joining a gym here called Fitness 19. I have a friend that goes and works out there everyday so I could meet her there and they have daycare. Their prices are really reasonable anywhere from $7 to $19 a month. Most people I talk to that go there are paying $12/month. Of course I have all the exercise equipment I need here at home. I have an elliptical, and a full weight set. So I think what I will do is make a concerted effort this week to eat better and exercise daily at home and see how it goes. If I stay on track, I'll continue with that but if I don't I'll join the Fitness 19. I know how to do the Weight Watcher's plan I have done it in the past successfully I just need to do it. I'm actually afraid to get on the scale right now, but I'm gonna do it and do my measurements so I can track my progress. I'll be happy if I just end up feeling better though. I've really just been feeling lousy, and I have no energy. So I'm praying to stay on track, and I hope I can.

Good for you. I know it's hard to stay motivated, but take up Julie on being an accoutable buddy..THAT helps. Or find someone at MOPS who can help you stay on track with Weight Watchers. How I did so good with WW last time is I did it with my mom and my bff. Good luck and I will be praying for ya. ~ K

Joanna ~ I'm right there with your girl ~ I have the elpitical, the weight set, the pilates ring, the ball!! I can be your buddy too ~ I know I could sure use one! Been praying for you girly!
