The bad news is that Doug was in a car accident yesterday. I came home from MOPS to find him home and the car in the driveway with the whole front end smashed in. He was out in Indio for work yesterday on his way to an appointment and he was behind a big pick-up truck pulling a wagon I think with landscaping equipment it was a business vehicle and when the light turned green Doug said the truck pulled forward so then Doug started going but then the truck stopped and the wagon rolled backward and hit the front of Doug's car. I think that still counts as rear-ending although our insurance company said they would investigate it and that its common for wagons to roll back that way. There was absolutely no damage to the wagon or the truck and Doug said it was really slow but the front end just crumpled. So now Doug's car is out of commission leaving me with no car when Doug has to work. My dad is coming today to take us to the Homeschool Valentines party at the park which I've been busy planning and so I need to be there.
On tuesday night at bible study we were discussing suffering and why we suffer and how we should feel about suffering. Several verses were read about how we should rejoice and thank God when we suffer as we are in good company. Look at how much Jesus suffered here on Earth. We were joking that when we break down on the side of the road we should just say thank you Lord I know there is a reason for this. So yesterday Doug and I said Thank you Lord! Hallelujiah! I know there is a reason. I must say thats hard to feel in my heart right now but logically I know it will all work out and we will find the deductible money somewhere and we will see a reason for this sometime.

I know that when it rains it seems to pour and it's hard to have faith when you can't see the umbrella. Just know that the umbrella is there and God is the one holding it. Of course you're socks might get a little wet though.
I'll be praying for you guys. In 2005, I totaled my car on the way to a home school curriculum fair. Three days later, Jody's truck was stolen, pretty much in front of him. God saw us through and He'll see you all through too.
LOve and blessings,
Julie
Doug has to get used to your hair? Does he have to get used to you looking like a total hottie, or what? I love it. It's totally adorable! Sorry about the car. I will pray for that situation.
God bless you.
